What better place for a proposal than a garden in Houston Texas?

Mariah has been a friend of mine for a long time. We first met in college at Texas Christian University. We used to spend hours planning our future weddings. I will never forget when Mariah first called to tell me about Matthew. After we hung up I knew she had met the one. 

A few months later Matthew reached out to me to tell me that he was planning on proposing to Mariah. After a quick search of different proposal locations in Houston Texas we settled on a garden. 

Mariah and I tell each other everything so I struggled to keep it a secret. I flew to Houston without her knowing and I hid in the bushes while Matthew proposed to her. I will never forget the look of shock and love on Mariahs face. 

It was the sweetest proposal. Matthew wrote her a note expressing his love for her and while she read it she got down on one knee. 

After they got engaged we took a few photos at Herman Park before they headed to an engagment party Matthew had planned.
