Yosemite National Park is the ideal backdrop for an adventure session. Catherine, Peter and I spent a winter morning exploring the park.

Prior to getting married in May of 2019, Peter, Catherine and I celebrated their engagement in Yosemite with an adventure session. Catherine and I went to high school together in Houston. When I first found out that Catherine was engaged to Peter I offered to fly to California to take photos. Catherine and Peter both love the outdoors and love to adventure so it was easy to convince them to do a session in Yosemite.

I met them in San Fransisco, California and we drove up to Yosemite early Saturday morning. We spent the morning and afternoon drive to different vantage points around the park. It had recently snowed, which made the adventure session even more magical. My favorite part of the day might have been when Catherine and Peter started a spontaneous snow ball fight.

Adventure sessions are by far one of my favorite types of photography sessions. I love spending the day adventuring in new places with new friends. This particular day though, will always hold a special place in my heart though. I loved spending the day with two dear friends.
